GDS is in a unique position to have access to both a first rate external supplier base throughout the UK and Europe, and also comprehensive internal production and manufacturing capabilities. This allows us to offer consolidated procurement solutions to our customers on a truly global scale.

We work with a preferred supplier network to offer our customers a broad spectrum of supply capabilities. Selection of our preferred supplier network is based on a number of key criteria including:

  • Performance
  • Financial Stability
  • Quality
  • Service
  • Delivery
  • Technological capability
  • Price
  • Geographical locations
Whether a client needs to source materials for worldwide operations or create a more effective workflow, GDS can help drive efficiencies and eliminate waste.

Before any supplier is accepted onto GDS' preferred supplier list they have to go through a formal accreditation process and agree to a regular quality review. Once they have been accepted their production capability and profile is built into the system.
